🥮 Get To Know The Face Behind The Art! 🥮
Hi, my name is Yang SooYeon and I am an independent digital artist. Art has always been a hobby of mine and I am so delighted to now be able to share my passion with the world. As a young female Asian artist, I am inspired by everything that has to do with my culture.
It has become a huge part of my life and influenced the style of art that I have developed! My work is a reflection of who I am and what I love the most! There is always a story within all my pieces and a personal piece of me too.
🥮 Who inspired me to become an artist? 🥮
My older sister was always the artistic one between us and that’s initially where my love for art stemmed from. I remember watching her view countless YouTube videos and read several books, trying to learn all she could about the artistic world.
Her determination to gaining more knowledge and practice inspired me to continue pushing myself and to keep bettering my skills. She is the genius behind my love for all things art!
🥮 What programs do I use? 🥮
I use Procreate!
However, I started out using a free app called, ‘Sketchbook’ for almost a year and that is primarily where I honed my digital drawing skills. From there I moved onto ‘Adobe Fresco’, looking for something more advanced for a few months , soon after I made the decision to take the leap to purchase Procreate! It’s only been a few months and I still have a lot to learn using this app!
